Ho there, friends! Pete has been on hiatus for some time, but no longer! After a short stint in a new house in Lansing and some unfortunate basement time, Pete returns better than ever, and this time in Grand Rapids. He's even sporting some fancy new facial hair.
Happy trails.

Oldie but a goodie
This is a bit late in posting, but I forgot I had it for a while, haha.
During a trip to Spring Arbor this last fall, Parachute Pete made a special presentation to our friend Ben.
This is a poster of one of Ben's favorite bands, For Today, signed by the whole band at a concert they headlined in Lansing. Needless to say, he was super pumped to see Pete and have this poster.
A couple weeks ago, Pete spent about a week and a half riding in my passenger seat. We actually got pulled over because an Ingham County cop thought I was holding someone hostage...he didn't say it, but that's the only reason for me to have been pulled over. No tickets, fortunately.
I had to eventually put him in the back again because a good friend let me know that I had freaked out some other cops one night while we were headed to Applebee's and it looked like they were casing Cedar Street pretty heavily after they saw me. I wondered how long it would be before I got into an encounter with the law about him, haha!
Pete and I are moving out of Lansing today, which will be better for doing stuff outside with him. We'll be going on some sweet trips soon, so stay tuned.
Happy trails.

Whole Again
A momentous occasion:
Parachute Pete has finally been reunited with both of his hands! Earlier today, several old Spring Arbor-ites who knew Pete from their dorm hall got together and were able to make him a whole half-man once again.
Now, Pete is ready for anything.
Happy trails.

House party
Parachute Pete brings the good times at a pizza party...and scares the tar out of a friend.
Also, had to make an amendment to the last post because I forgot to add a picture. Now it's complete.

Bonfire!
This weekend, the house had its first outdoor fire, and Parachute Pete was the life of the party. After a little warming up, he really got things going during a dubstep rave.
He's got some moves.

Fourth of July
This post has been a long time in coming, I know, but I had to get the pictures from a friend before I could share it.
On the Fourth of July, I brought Pete to watch the fireworks in Mason with a bunch of my friends. The show was fantastic, and might have been Pete's first fireworks show ever. You can see the excitement in his eyes.
Enjoying the show. |
Happy trails.
